恩迪科特学院于1939年由埃莉诺塔珀博士携丈夫共同建立，最初目的是使当时的女子接受教育从而赢得更大的独立并提高她们在社会中的地位。经过历史的发展，如今恩迪科特学院已经发展成为一所综合性学院，开展多种课程，可授予副学士学位、学士学位、硕士学位和博士学位，同时开设网络教育课程。
