Personal Statement:
Please provide a personal statement of approximately 500 words discussing your plans for graduate study and your personal and professional goals.
Please include in your statement some discussion of which Rutgers-Camden Psychology Department faculty members you might be interested in working with, and in what areas of research (to answer this question, please refer to the list of psychology department faculty and research interests at http://psychology.camden.rutgers.edu/faculty.html ). Although you may well be undecided at this point, please give us your thoughts on some possibilities, and indicate how sure or unsure you are about your preferences.
Recommendation Letter:
Two (but preferably three) letters of recommendation addressing your potential for graduate study in psychology. Preferably the letters should come from college professors who are familiar with your work, but if you have been out of school for some years, letters from non-academic professionals such as work supervisors may be acceptable.
Writing Sample:
A writing sample (e.g., a research paper written as part of undergraduate psychology course) is encouraged, but not required.
