Transcript: An official copy of transcript with grading scheme directly sent by the university concerned (envelope should be sealed with university stamp); and A copy of graduation certificate and/or degree certificate; and A copy of the Online Verification Report (中國高等教育學歷認證報告/教育部學歷證書電子註冊備案表/教育部學籍線上驗證報告) issued by the CHESICC (學信網) (for applicants who obtained degrees from universities in Mainland China). Personal Statement: A statement of purpose (to state the applicants’ objective in pursuing the program of study, their career aspirations, and any other reasons for their application) Recommendation Letter: Recommendation from two referees. Confidential recommendation forms directly sent by the referees; or referees to submit the recommendation forms online. Research Proposal: A preliminary research proposal (to indicate the applicants’ general area of research interest, any specific research topics of interest to the applicant and the kind of language that they will use to write the thesis) Other Documents: A copy of previous written work, such as a thesis, research project report or published article (to demonstrate applicants’ research potential and capability) (if any); and a copy of HKID card or other identity documents as given in the application form.
