Transcript: Applicants must submit 1 copy of their academic record/transcript at the time of application. We accept unofficial documents at the time of application and perform credential evaluations in the Graduate School free of charge. Personal Statement: A 300-500 word essay describing your philosophy of music education and how you put that into practice in your teaching position, and your personal and professional objectives to be served by a master's degree from Miami University. Recommendation Letter: Letters of recommendation from three people recommending you for graduate study in music. Video Recording: A video recording (10-15 minutes in length) of a recent rehearsal or class. The primary focus of the recording should be on the teacher rather than on the students, and the recording should be of a single uninterrupted class. Please do not include more than five minutes of warm-up activities.
