As part of the application process, all applicants MUST submit unofficial transcripts (and official degree certificates if applicable) along with certified English translations if the records are in a language other than English. An officer of the educational institution issuing the documents must certify credentials.
Curriculum Vitae:
Your professional resume should include personal information (name, address, telephone number and email address), educational background, work experience (start and end dates for each position and a brief description of responsibilities), internship experience, educational training, professional associations, and leadership experiences or other activities that demonstrate your development of non-technical business soft skills. Please limit your resume to one page only.
Personal Statement:
Your personal statement should briefly describe your reasons for pursuing the MSA degree, your personal and professional goals, and the contribution you plan to make while you are at Illinois. Please limit your personal statement to one page. Applicants DO NOT need to complete the 1500 word statement referenced in the online application.
Recommendation Letter:
Three letters of Recommendation (accessed by clicking the Recommendations tab in the online application) from academic and /or business sources. Academic references should be from professors whose course(s) you have taken. Professional references should come from your work supervisor. Personal references and references from co-workers are not acceptable.
