Transcript: You must submit one transcript from each post-secondary institution attended, regardless of whether or not a degree was earned or the credits are reflected on a separate transcript as transfer credit. If documents are not in English, also provide a certified English translation of each document. Translations certified by the degree granting university are considered official. Third party translations are not considered official. Failure to provide all academic documents will result in delays in processing your application materials. Please upload copies of academic transcripts (and diploma/degree certification, if applicable) with your application. If you have previously attended or are currently attending Ohio University, you must indicate this on your applciation. Your OHIO transcripts will be obtained by the Graduate College on your behalf. Recommendation Letter: One letter of reference from a faculty member who taught you in a Social Science course. One letter of reference from someone who supervised you in paid or volunteer human services work. A third letter from either of the two types of referees described immediately above. Financial Support Form: Submiting a Financial Support Form with the application is not required, but it is recommended. The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services require that Ohio University establish that students have sufficient funds for the first year of study before a Form I-20 or DS-2019 Certificate of Eligibility can be issued. Having a complete Financial Support Form on file at the point you are admitted will speed up processing of your Certificate of Eligibility.
