Transcript: One official transcript from each institution from which credit has been earned prior to the application, including transcripts for credits transferred from one institution to another. An official transcript is one that is sent directly from the institution to the Graduate College of Ohio University. Transcripts can be sent either online or in a sealed envelope. Curriculum Vitae: A curriculum vita or a resume is preferred, but not required. Personal Statement: An autobiography focused upon the professional career and objectives of the applicant. The autobiography should be double spaced and approximately four pages in length. Recommendation Letter: Three recommendations, using an official recommendation form from Ohio University or placed on organizational letterhead of the individual making the recommendation. The form can be found at http://www.ohio.edu/graduate/apply/index.cfm. Financial Support Form: Submiting a Financial Support Form with the application is not required, but it is recommended. The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services require that Ohio University establish that students have sufficient funds for the first year of study before a Form I-20 or DS-2019 Certificate of Eligibility can be issued. Having a complete Financial Support Form on file at the point you are admitted will speed up processing of your Certificate of Eligibility.
