Transcript: Official transcripts are those that arrive at our office in an envelope sealed by the institution or local ministry of education. All documents must be accompanied by a certified English translation. College/University transcripts are always required even if the applicant did not complete a degree or program at the previous institution.​​ Personal Statement: Applicants should address any gaps, weaknesses or special circumstances in their academic records in the statement of purpose portion of the application. In special circumstances, the department may modify its admission standards. Recommendation Letter: All applications must include three letters of recommendation, preferably from college or university faculty, or school administrators. Writing Sample: Applicants are required to submit a sample of written work, usually a term paper or project of similar length.
