Personal Statement: A personal statement of two to three double-spaced pages that explains your background, educational and career aims, and reasons for applying to this department. Recommendation Letter: Three letters of recommendation. Once you submit your application for final review, your professors will receive an automated email requesting that they upload their recommendation letter. Writing Sample: Two writing samples, at least 3000 words in length; one in the language of study, the other in English (term papers, published articles, or convention papers).
