Transcript: Arrange for the official transcript to be sent to us Besides uploading a copy of the transcript, applicants must also submit an official transcript of academic records from each university attended. You are responsible for requesting your transcript from the university concerned. You may download the Transcript Request form for this purpose. Graduates from NUS can submit certified copies of the official transcripts of their academic records with their applications. For graduates not from this university, the official transcript must be enclosed in a SEALED envelope with its flap bearing the security seal of your University and the signature of the Registrar or his representative. Your application will be incomplete and will not processed if the official transcript is not received by the Department that you are applying to before the application closing date. Personal Statement: Applicants are required to describe their reasons and motivation for pursuing a graduate degree in our department. Recommendation Letter: Please note that the referee(s) should be; 1) University Professors 2) Research Project Lead 3) Managers (only applicable for applicants with working experiences) Research Proposal: Applicants are strongly recommended to submit details of their research proposal and give the significance and aims of the project. Publication(s) : Please submit a copy of each of your publication(s), if any. The journal’s “Impact Factor” field (which allows input of up to one decimal point) is essentially a measure of scientific impact that is based on citation rates for an article or other citable item. It also takes into account the significance of the journals in which result has been published. Please leave it blank if you are unsure.
